Elitist Hill Climber

The Elitist HIll Climber is not a massively different strategy to its parent hill climber. The term Elitist applies in terms of preserving the "best" or "better" solutions. By this, we mean that Elitist Hill Climbers do not permute their better positions as much, trying instead to preserve as much of the good position as possible. While this will no doubt limit their capacity to full explore the space, it preserves the quality of their solutions to prevent them from finding and subsequently moving away from a good position
